Bath And Body Works | Winter Collection

 I have an issue, and the issue is I can't stop buying Bath & Body Works candles, these two make my collection 5 strong now. I'm probably going to get more at another time, all 5 of my candles are autumnal scents - one is even a lovely Halloween one (you can see my other candle haul here).

The two candles I bought are Hot Cocoa & Cream and Campfire Donuts. The candles are both 3 wick and have the same sort of rustic looking label on the glass jars. They also feature the same metal lids with the forest and stars design on them! These scents are definitely not for everyone as only my brother and Davids Auntie like the smell of them - they are very strong and if you're not a fan of sweet cakey type scents then I'd probably steer clear of these ones. 
Hot Cocoa & Cream smells just like a super rich hot chocolate - smells insane and honestly it smells good enough to eat. It is definitely the stronger of the two scents. Campfire Donuts smells amazing too - it isn't nearly a strong a scent as Hot Cocoa & Cream though. 
It smells cakey and sweet, just like a warm donut would smell. 
Both these candles are literally drool worthy!!

Snow Fairy Candle

For my birthday my amazing best friend spoiled me with so many lovely things - a couple of which will feature here over the next few weeks! But for now we are gonna talk about this delicious smelling candle! 
The candle in question is from Bags of Thought and smells just like Lush's Snow Fairy, hence the candle being called Snow Fairy. Bags of Thought have so many scents, from Chanel to Dior, they have it all. The jars cost £19.99, and are about the same size as a medium Yankee jar.

The Snow Fairy jar smells utterly divine! It smells just like the bottles of snow fairy, as its quite a strong smell even without burning it I thought it would be really strong whilst burning but its quite a soft smell. Its not over powering in anyway shape or form. Its light and sweet, and oh so yummy. 
Caitlyn I praise you for getting me this candle - but also curse you cause now I want to buy more!

Imperial Candles A Jewel In Every Candle | Santa's Cookies Review

I love candles so much, and I definitely - like most people - burn them a lot more in the colder months, I usually end up buying one or two of Yankee Candles Christmas offerings. This year I was lucky enough to get an Imperial Candle, these smell amazing and burn so incredibly well! And major bonus as well, all the candles (the do bath products too!) contain an item of jewellery: a ring; necklace; or earrings. Every candle contains an item of jewellery the is worth between £10 and £2000! The candles are 100% natural soy wax, and I think this helps them burn so much better. 

The packaging of these products is really pretty, its so so simple but I think it looks really classy. Sometimes I feel that candles can have really cheap, cheesy and tacky packaging but Imperial Candles really don't, their packaging is just so lovely and fits in my house so well. The Imperial Candles Santa's Cookie Candle* smells so good! It fills the whole house with a really lovely scent, its not sickly sweet like some cookie scented candles can be. It burns so well, and evenly! I love when candles burn properly so that you've not got loads of wax stuck up the sides, the little things in life give me joy. The candles contain two wicks as well, and I think this really helps with the burning process, ensuring its really even the whole way down. 

The candles burn for so long before you get to the little foil wrap that houses the item of jewellery, my candle contains a ring btw. I think I must have had mine burning for at least 5 hours before I was able to wiggle the ring out. It was a bit waxy, but the wax felt really nice and not like normal candle wax does. 

The ring was wrapped in the red foil, then in another layer of foil and finally was enclosed inside a little plastic bag. Its quite nice to see how well enclosed they are, as you know then that the ring isn't going to get any wax on it. 

This is the ring that I got in my candle. I'm really pleased with it, its a really cute wee design and is worth £30. Its real silver, and has little crystals in an infinity loop design. 
I really wish I had posted this review earlier as these would make an amazing gift for any girlies in your life, and at £24.99 they are really a brilliant price especially for what you are getting! 
They ship internationally, and make their candles on order - so your candle is made especially for you! How cool is that? You'll also receive a ring in your chosen size, ensuring the ring you get is the right size for you - meaning you can wear it right away and don't have to pay more to have it resized. 
If you order one of these as a Christmas present for someone, you might not get it in time because they do make all the candles by hand when a new order is made.
These candles are such high quality and I really feel Imperial Candles should be talked about more because they really are amazing! 

Have you ever had a jewellery candle before? 

Florence Anne Fragrance Blackberry and Fig Candle

Theres nothing I love quite as much as sitting in my room all cosy with a nice candle light in the corner. So when I gave these candles a sniff I couldn't really leave without one, right? Right... 

 The candle is a really simple and classy looking thing, the lid though could do with a rubber seal or something as it is insanely loose... The packing though is really simple and chic - I'm quite the fan of it. Nice rose gold-y coloured lid, embossed with the brand name, and then just a simple sticker on the front. It looks semi expensive, but obviously isn't (I think it cost about £12, maybe a bit less).

Onto the scent now then, its actually really pleasant and refreshing. Nothing too strong, so it doesn't overwhelm you, but its not too subtle that you don't notice it at all. It really enjoy the smell of this when its burning, its a really nice soft fruity scent. They've got a few different scents so if this doesn't tickle your fancy there are others to pick from. These would also make a prefect gift for someone, if you maybe just wanted to get an extra little something, or if you have a secret Santa to buy for.

Before Bed Skin Prep | Bedtime Routine

The past week or so I've really got into quite a routine at night: 1. to try help me fall asleep quicker and 2. To try make my skin feel and look better. For me personally bed time is just the burden of my life. I 99% of the time can't fall asleep before 3 in the morning or my puppy goes mental meaning I just generally can't get to sleep.

The absolute first thing I do now when I'm getting ready for bed now is to light a candle - preferably a non-scented one. I've been burning Avon's Sleep Serenity one recently just to see if it can actually help me drift off better. But I just like have a candle burning as I get into my pj's and fix my face and what not. I'll also spray my pillow with a pillow mist, the one I use is also from Avon - anything to help me drift off. I do quite like this one, and while I was still going to classes this really did help me fall asleep a lot quicker and when I did drift off I slept a billion times better.

The next thing I'd do is to moisturise my face, so just now that means the La Roche Possay Duo followed by Hydraluron and finishing off with a cheap Garnier moisturiser that I've been trying to use up. After my skins all lovely and soft its only fair to give my lips a little attention - so on goes Reve De Miel. Perfect little pot of sherbety lemony buttery goodness.

My body does need a little bit of loving as well, more so my feet. I've been making sure that they get a good slobber of cream on them each night. I'll quickly buff over my feet with my pedegg, I'm not high class enough to have an electric foot buffer, and then cover my feet in a thick layer of cream and wear socks over night.
For the rest of my body I apply some of the Body Shops Pink Grapefruit lotion to any overly dry bits on le bod. The smell of this is heavenly.
