So I bought these a couple months ago (before I made the decision to only buy cruelty free products) after finding out they had this little set in Boots, I'd wanted to try the masks for ages but didnt want to pay so much for them if they turned out to be rubbish.
So the set comes with six different mini sized masks: Supermud; Youthmud; Thirstymud; Flashmud; and Powermud. I've yet to try Youthmud or Flashmud but after trying the other three I'm not sure I want to...

Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Perfume
The first time I saw Scandal by Jean Paul Gaultier I instantly fell for it, I didn't even need to smell it - the bottle was just that pretty! Luckily it also smells divine - but I actually only first smelled it in the Airport coming home from Amsterdam. David's parents once again surprised me with a rather expensive fragrance as a present - for my birthday they got me Valentino Donna which has fast become one of my most reached for scents.
Jean Paul Gaultier do unfortunately test on animals - but most fragrance brands seem to these days - I'm going to try get myself a cruelty free perfume soon, but in the mean time I'll use up the ones I've been given as gifts.
The bottle is really pretty, the liquid inside it is a rose-y pink shade. The fragrance name on the bottle is on a silver plaque and the whole bottle is topped off with the silver legs on top! This perfume will just look so pretty on your dressing table. Its a really sweet smelling perfume, and its not surprising when you see that honey and patchouli are laced throughout the fragrance. Its sweet, feminine but also classy and elegant. I'd say its one of those fragrances thats light enough for during the day but a few extra sprays and you'd have your evening fragrance all lined up. I'm absolutely awful at describing scents - so I'll not try to describe it more than I already have, if your near a store that sells it I'd just recommend giving it a good sniff. Have you tried this before, what do you think of this scent?

Going Cruelty Free
For awhile now I've been toying with the idea of going vegan, but I'd maybe like to just say plant based, to cover any minor slip ups I may have. I stopped drinking milk and have dramatically reduced the amount of dairy I eat in the past few months due to looking into the dairy industry more - lets just say that although I bloody love cheese, for me personally I think it is a much more cruel and vile industry than the meat industry. More on that later if you want, but for now this post is mostly aimed at the beauty industry.

Huda Beauty | Liquid Matte Minis The Red Edition
Christmas of 2016 seems like aeons ago but also like it was just the other week, but anyway, I got the Huda Beauty Red Edition of the Liquid Matte Minis for my Christmas last year. I've played around with them a fair bit and more recently started to use them again, so what better time than now to finally get around to reviewing them?

Thrift Company UK | Pocket Patch Tops
I honestly couldn't tell you when it was that I first saw these tops, but when I saw them my inner child squealed with joy and I knew I had to have them. Thrift Company UK are tops made with lovely pocket patches! The vast majority of the tshirts are Disney ones, although Danielle (the brains and the beauty behind the company) has also made Harry Potter and Pixar tops!
I got a top from David for my birthday and I've wanted to share these with you all for ages but I've only managed to do it now!

GymShark | My Collection
Hello you lovely lot! Welcome to 2018! As we're now in January we're all now starting to think, if not already started, to lose weight/get in shape. I don't know about you but I feel that a nice gym look makes me more willing to go to the gym. Don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of the gym, I enjoy working out and I do go a lot to the gym, but having nice clothes to wear definitely makes the experience a heck of a lot more bearable.

18 for 2018
After the shit show that was 2017 I'm feeling pretty good for 2018 - I mean its not let me down yet, two days in and no panic attacks. So 2018 is being pretty good to me so far, all I've done is spend time with David and my lil pupper Daisy and eat all the food. I started to think whilst looking at what everyone had achieved in 2017 on Instagram, what did I want to achieve in 2018? So here we are, I'm currently sat cross legged on the bed with Daisy next to me really thinking about what 18 things I want to achieve this year. So here we go...

Amsterdam Food Guide
I honestly didn't know how amazing the food in Amsterdam would be - I'd genuinely next time I go take a food tour as I know I didn't even scratch the surface for places to eat!
We tried so much food while we were away, so I thought I'd share where we found for great breakfasts, snacks and places for lunch/dinner - if we had breakfast we found we were too full to eat lunch sometimes so we didn't eat nearly as much food as I'd have liked!

Amsterdam Photo Diary
Just before Christmas David and I took ourselves off for a wee city break to Amsterdam, I honestly think that its the best city break I've been on. I didn't over plan the whole holiday, just had a vague idea of what I wanted us to see, rather than knowing where we would be at what time and what day like in previous holidays. We also ate so much amazing food - a post featuring all the foody bits will come soon too!
Amsterdam is an amazing city, its so laid back and chilled you could easily spend two days here and see it all or spread it out over a week and just wander about. I want to go back, and hopefully 2018 will see me back there.

Taking Time For Your Mental Health
At the time I'm writing this I am sat at home, having a mental battle with myself on whether or not I should go to the Arbonne Christmas Party that at this moment in time starts in just over an hour. The outfit I'm wearing is the least Christmassy thing ever and although it was an outfit I once rocked with ease I now find myself feeling really uneasy in it, picking at every little thing and to be honest with you getting myself in a bit of a tissy. So I thought what better time to blog, something that historically calms me down and makes me feel better than now.
Let me tell you, this post is not something I ever thought I'd be writing but I thought it was something worthwhile sharing as so many people have similar struggles, its sometimes good to read these to know your not alone in how your feeling.
As its now 2018, I thought I'd actually post this - my goal for this year is to be much more open with my mental health and to get control over it again, rather than letting it control me and dictate what I do with myself.

ACAI Activewear | UKLingerie.com
If anyone knows me, you'll know that I love going to the gym. I try to train at least 4 times a week, some weeks I can train 6 times a week. I was really kindly sent some active wear from UKLingerie - the things I got I am so pleased with.
The first thing I spotted on their website was this lovely spider back top*. All their active wear is from a brand called Acai, the top is really nicely designed. Its a nice sort of thick material with a cut out back. I've worn this to the gym a few times now and I have to say it works really well as a gym top. Keeps you cool while you work out, its comfy to wear and it looks cool as well! It's basically everything you could ask of from a workout top. The top costs £39, the top is really high quality and I think it'll last really well.
I also spied this pretty little tank*, tank tops are the perfect companion for back and shoulder days. And when they look cute its always a bonus!!! Its got a built in sports bra but frankly I cant benefit from it, I unfortunately still need to wear an actual sports bra. The back for this tank is pretty, its got an overlapping string detail on it. Its also got a cool mesh panel at the front of it. Its a bit more expensive than the previous top at £51 but if you're able to make use out of the built in bra then its pretty decent value.
Final item I got was the Never Grow Up Leggings*, these are lovely on. I found them a tiny bit loose on the waist but my waist is a little smaller than the sizing in the guide. The design on the leggings is really pretty too but I do think where the design is on the leggings is a little bit more see through than you'd like in a pair of leggings. However the design is only around the lower leg, so while squatting ect its not an issue. They cost £69, they have a good amount of support in them and a huge pocket on the thigh.
Have you ever heard of Acai sportswear before? What do you think of what I got?

Goodbye 2017, Hello 2018
As I get older the years seem to genuinely get shorter... They also seem to get more and more shit. Just me that thinks this? No? Ok good. As its now two days in to 2018 I thought I'd do this post.
2017 shot by in a heartbreat. I've gone through heartbreak, been at an all time low for my self esteem and confidence, picked myself back up, transformed myself completely and became probably the most confident and happy version of myself, met David (my absolute rock and best friend, if you're reading this Caitlyn and Aileen soz x), failed uni again, been broke all year, had so many panic attacks and lows, having certain people watch your every move online and not leaving you/ your relationship alone and now here we are the end of December 2018 and to be completely honest with you - I near enough cried on Christmas day, not cause I was happy and grateful and what not, but because I was so deflated and unhappy.
My mental health in 2017 was all over the place, I went from feeling horrific to feeling amazing to once again feeling horrific, even though I've been to some incredible places with my friends and David and have met so many amazing new people, I just cant seem to shake the feeling, to describe it I'd probably just say that I felt raw/numb? A bit cut off emotionally, and in general just feel very off and not like me.
2017 made me its bitch but 2018 be warned cause I'm going to dominate you even if it kills me - I kid, I wont let 2018 kill me that would kinda mean that once again I was the lil bitch.
