Highlighting Heaven | The Highlight Queen That Broke The Internet

If your a beauty junkie or even an enthusiast, you'll love a good highlighter. And if you've been on near enough any social media recently you'll have seen the absolutely stunning and super lovely Nosheen - but you'll most likely know her as Beautyby.nk!
I've been following her for at least a couple of years now, and have bought from her a few times now. Nosheen makes all her highlighters by hand herself, and has more than just a few shades in her line up. I adore her highlighters, Tinker is a particular favourite of mine, but Gatsby, oh my oh my is also so so SO stunning!
And I'm certainly not the only one to think so, as she now has over 130 THOUSAND followers on her instagram. Her most recent restock sold out in under five minutes with more still wanting to get their hands on her highlighters. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a couple before she blew up online!
The shades are amazing, they wear like a dream. So creamy super blendable, and oh so glowy!!

Benefit Fine One One | Review

This is actually something I bought a fair while ago, and only really got used to using recently. I honestly have no idea why it took me so long to use - its bloody amazing, pretty much fool proof and gives you the prettiest shade of colour ever!
Everything about this product is perfect, when I say perfect I mean it. The packaging is so pretty, even by Benefits standards. It's compact, and rose gold. I mean come on, what more could you want - it is stunning!
The product itself is made up of three different colours, a champaney highlight colour, a pink and a coral orange. Am I making much sense? I know the way I've described it probably isn't selling you on how it looks but believe me, its so worth spending the pennies on.
I tend to layer it up a wee bit, giving maybe three swipes and blending out. The Real Techniques Buffing brush is ideal for this - this brush was made for it. The colour is really sheer, despite how it first looks when you open it up, so you might want to build it up a wee bit to get a colour you like.
I don't think there's anyway that you'll be able to fully appreciate this without trying it in person. So go, go now, and give this ago! If you're looking for something to add to your Christmas list then this might be something?

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter | Review

So first of all just let me apologise for the lack of posting, but life has just got in the way recently and I've just not had any time to write any posts. But anyway, a while back I bought a highlighter from TheBalm and I've barely used it, so when I saw that Superdrug had the well raved MUA highlighter was in stock I was a bit wary of buying it. Yes its only £4 but if I don't use it then its a £4 thats been wasted. I went for it though and bought it, and boy am I glad that I did.
Back story aside, this is a seriously good highlighter. Nothing too over the top, so you could easily wear it all day everyday.
MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter Swatch
It seems that everyone and their cat has this highlighter, bloggers love it and it is almost always sold out. This is a really pretty frosty pink shade, although I describe it as pink it is absolutely stunning on the skin. I've not really found that this can be applied to heavily, maybe its just the brush I use? I tend to apply it with my Real Techniques Blush brush, I find it gives a nice good dusting on the cheek bones, and if I feel like I want to then a little dusting on my nose and chin. I think because of the colour of this and the fact that its a fairly light highlight that this would suit almost all skin tones. It's also perfect for day time wear as well as for the night, at night just apply a little more to make it slightly more obvious.
Whenever I apply a full face of makeup this definately gets applied to my cheek bones, I'd love to be able to contour and highlight properly, but because of the shimmer in this it probably wouldn't be great for that.

Do you have this highlighter? Whats your favourite?

Sleek Contour Palette

I've seen people all over YouTube talk about Sleek make-up and was always really interested in trying it out for myself.  I was overly impressed with all the products they had, and I had to restrain myself from buying everything in sight. I bought the contour kit, since I was in need of a highlighter and that had one in it.

For £9.99 this is a total steal, bargain or however else you want to say cheap for what you get. I think the highlight of the product is the blush and the highlighter. I would probably say the contour powder is brilliant as well, but I'm terrified to use it, just in case I turn myself brown, looking like I've smeared mud all over my face.

The palette has a huge mirror in it, which would be perfect to take in a make-up bag. The pigmentation of the products is pretty good, the blush is the most amazing colour.

The blush is a beautiful pinky/red with a lot of gold through it, it looks beautiful on. It makes you look very glowy and healthy. The highlight is a lovely champagne colour, it looks amazing under the brow bone and on top of the cheek bone. The contour colour now that I've swatched it doesn't seem as scary as it looks in the palette. I think I'm going to play about with it a bit and see if I can become friends with it.

I really like this palette for the price you get so much and it is very high quality. I'm really wanting to try other things by Sleek, if you have any ideas on what I should try next then please leave it in the comments I would love to know what products you like. :)
