Estee Lauder Bronze Godess Perfume | Review

I swear to god, for the last four years I've told myself I'll get the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess perfume, and until now I've never been able to say I own it. While on the way to Turkey I decided to have a wee look to see if it was there and it was, so without a second thought I bought it and I'm so glad I did.
My mum and boyfriend think it smells like coconuts - and Connor says it reminds him of going on holiday.
I don't really understand base notes and perfume-y type stuff, but just incase you're interested here you go.
Top notes: Sicilian bergamot, mandarin, lemon, orange

Mid notes: tiare flower, jasmine, magnolia, orange blossom
Base notes: warm amber, coconut milk, vanilla, vetiver, sandalwood, myrrh

If I'm honest I only really notice the vanilla and coconut milk but it smells sweet and reminds me of being on holiday. The bottle is stunning too and I think it is just the same as last years bottle. The scent is amazing though, reminds me of being somewhere hot sipping on cocktails! Oh the holiday blues I get from smelling this. If you want to pick it up though you'll need to be quick because once its gone its gone until next year!

Highlighting Heaven | The Highlight Queen That Broke The Internet

If your a beauty junkie or even an enthusiast, you'll love a good highlighter. And if you've been on near enough any social media recently you'll have seen the absolutely stunning and super lovely Nosheen - but you'll most likely know her as Beautyby.nk!
I've been following her for at least a couple of years now, and have bought from her a few times now. Nosheen makes all her highlighters by hand herself, and has more than just a few shades in her line up. I adore her highlighters, Tinker is a particular favourite of mine, but Gatsby, oh my oh my is also so so SO stunning!
And I'm certainly not the only one to think so, as she now has over 130 THOUSAND followers on her instagram. Her most recent restock sold out in under five minutes with more still wanting to get their hands on her highlighters. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a couple before she blew up online!
The shades are amazing, they wear like a dream. So creamy super blendable, and oh so glowy!!

A Week In Turkey | Photo Diary

Holiday blues are kicking in hard, it doesn't help that I've just come back from the most amazing week in Turkey. Connor (the boyfriend) and I booked a few months ago to all inclusive to a 5 star resort in Fethiye, Turkey. We got an amazing deal for it, and I really wish we had booked for longer as a week just didn't feel like long enough.
We stayed in the Barut Sensatori Resort Fethiye, its a 45 minute drive from the airport and while we were there the weather was amazing - it was only cloudy the second day we were there. We were glad of the cloudy day though as it meant we could visit the markets without dying in the heat! The weather was great though, mid to high 30's most of the time. Even a couple of days it went into 40 degrees - maybe even a little too hot!
The resort was amazing - you could have done as much or as little as you liked! I think if when we go back I'll go Paragliding and maybe even scuba diving! We did go to Mud Baths and Sulphur pools and saw Lycan Ruins before seeing turtles and chilling on the beach! The resort itself had a beach, which turtles had laid their eggs on, there were loads of bars, 2 outdoor pools, and so many places to eat!
Out of the 6 restaurants that were on the resort we tried four of them - the other two you had to pay to use but even still they only cost something like £15 each! I could literally talk about the hotel all day but I'll stop now. I'd 100% recommend visiting Turkey and especially recommend the hotel we stayed in. But now heres to the pictures!
Holiday blues are a real thing, can you blame me though - especially when the place was this nice!

New Years Resolutions - 7ish months on

I've been a bit of a rubbish blogger recently, sorry about that. Life happened and took priority over blogging. Good news though! It was all worth it as not only did I pass my resit uni year - hello 3rd year - I also passed my theory test and bought a car! Cant quite drive it on my own yet but fingers crossed for a cancellation so i can get driving soon!
Today's post i thought would be a kind of half way point for my new years resolutions. I only had 3: see 4 new places; be happier; and be healthier. Pretty easy things to do, and i think so far I'm managing them pretty well.
See 4 new places. This one is going very well, Ive been to Rome this year and I'm just back from an amazing (and very hot) week away in Turkey. So thats 2 down 2 to go! I'm hoping to go away for my 21st in August, Paris or Venice maybe... Which means to reach my goal I'll only have 1 place - abroad or somewhere new in the UK - to do for the remaining 4 months. There has been talk of a work holiday somewhere and also a long weekend to Germany for Christmas markets and football... I see no reason why i can't make my goal.
Be happier. The start of the year was really stressful for me. Actually, up until i found out I had passed my exams was really stressful for me. But since then ive felt so much more at ease. I think the holidaus have helped my feelings of happiness too though. Before both holidays this year ive found out ive passed exams. I never thought I'd be the kind of person that would cry for passing their exams but i did. I cried in work like a massive baby cause i was so happy. One step closer to my degree and youve no idea how happy that makes me.
Be healthier. This one is been trying so hard to do. Gym happened for about 2 months, but then flopped. I habe lost a wee bit of weight though - and I think my diet had a lot to do with that: I cut out snacking, I ate less pasta and pizza and more salmon and stuff like that. I've still some way to go, but my health and body image will have a big impact on my happiness.
