OOTD | American Apparel Jeans

I was in dire need of a new pair of jeans - when I say dire I mean my black jeans had like 8 holes in them... It was pretty bad! I decided against getting another pair of Topshop jeans because I seem to need to replace them like every 3/4 months, this time I went for a lovely pair of American Apparel Easy Jeans.
I decided on pairing them with this lace and floral crop top from Urban Outfitters and my white converse. Seemed a bit spring-y, probably due to it being really sunny outside. Despite the sun though it was pretty darn cold outside - so on goes my well loved GCU Jets hoodie, I'm part of my universities cheer squad and this hoodie is the comfiest thing I own.

Date Night make-up and outfit

Date night this week was so lovely, we went for dinner in Yo! Sushi and then after wandering around the shops for a wee while, went to see the new Hobbit movie - its such a good movie! 

 Make-up wise I kept things kind of simple, to start of I used a few sprays of the Urban Decay De-Slick Spray and primed my skin with my Smashbox primer, Maybelline Dream Satin foundation and Maybelline fit me concealer to cover some redness and blemishes. Also on the face was the Bourjois bronzer and highlighter. The brows are my usual go to products, Brow Wiz and Gimmie brow - just the perfect combo. My eyes were a bit more snazzy than I usually do, but I quite like it. They look pretty, it was simple to do and boy did the shadow last forever. I used the Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze on my lids and L'Oreal Carbon Black and Tatre Lights Camera Splashes on the lashes. I used my new Maybelline Velvet Pencil in Keep it Classy, my abs fave colour at the moment. 

I kept my outfit really casual, it was too cold outside to do much else. Of course I wore my red Urban Outfitters cardigan, I paired it with black Topshop Joni jeans and my ASOS blue stappy top along with my shine-y new white converse. 
I had such a nice night out, and the hobbit was such a good movie to see in the cinema. Gotta love a good date night. 

OOTD | Grey Tees and Floral Prints

Apparently I don't wear shoes... The last couples of outfit posts I've done I haven't worn shoes in them - odd right? This outfit is from one of the days last week when it was actually sunny, come back please sunshine, the rains just depressing and makes everything look dark. 
My top is the most comfy thing ever, I found it in TK Maxx a few weeks ago - I love it! I think it was only like £6/7 so super affordable. I really think I should have bought a few... My skirt is from Dorothy Perkins (I think), its actually meant to be a lot longer than I wear it, its just a little bit to baggy on - I keep meaning to take it to a seamstress, hopefully they can take it in for me. Its meant to be a mid length pencil skirt but it currently looks more like a mini bodycon one. I really like the print on it, it makes a simple plain tee look so much nicer. I have a lot of plain tops. The kimono just like in the previous outfit post is from Primark, I think I should invest in some more kimonos - any idea where does nice ones? 
I find outfit pictures kind of hard to take, I feel I just look a bit odd or frumpy... Let me know if you like me doing these posts, cause some of the pictures make me quite happy. Something that makes me very happy is that its my birthday in 20 days!!!

OOTD | Maxi Skirt & Kimono Lovin'

Glasgow last week felt more like ( or at least I imagine it did) Spain than a city in Scotland. We had temperatures of 25 and above for more than a week. With Friday being 29 degrees (Celsius that is). I meant to get the next couple of outfit posts up while it was still hot, but y'know I wanted to take advantage of the sun and soak in it for as long as possible. I did take advantage of the sun - however by the colour of my skin you wouldn't have thought that I spend literally hours and hours sitting outside in the scorching heat. My mum and my brother tan so easily, and then I'm sat next to them, white as a ghost - well I'm more peach now (apparently). I don't tan easily nor burn. I do have tan lines but they are barely noticeable. Fair skinned problems. 
I saw this Kimono a couple of weeks ago in Primark and picked it up on a whim, I'm  glad I did. I'm a jumper addict, and obviously I couldn't get away with wearing one last week so this came in handy. My maxi skirt is also from Primark, I bought it last year and wore it once, I think it made me look slightly taller than usual. I'll take any help to look taller, being 5'2 ish kind of sucks. My top is just a little strappy thing from Topshop, its one of those ones thats always on 2 for £10. My dog, well she cme from Falkirk - she loves a wee cuddle, I think she was confused as to what I was doing as she kept looking at me in a weird way. (my dog makes lots of facial expressions, I'm not crazy - promise)
I really liked the way this outfit came together, apparently I do have some sense of style.

OOTD | Comfy Casual

I'm a creature of habit, and I think the majority of my days are spent wearing outfits like this. Comfy jeans, big jumper to keep my stupidly cold body warm and a plain white tee. To jazz it up a little I added my casio watch - I'm so out there fashion wise. Go me eh? But anyway, my jeans are from Topshop and so is my top, my watch was a gift and the jumper is from Urban Outfitters - it is literally my favourite item of clothing I own.

OOTD | Lunch With Friends

I barely leave my house these days, believe me when I say my social life is practically dead. Today though I did venture outside and it was a reasonably nice day outside - chilly wind but nice sunshine. I haven't seen a lot of my friends from school for quite awhile and it genuinely saddens me that we saw each other almost everyday last year and now we barely see each other. But anyhoo, we went to Wetherspoons and had a really lovely - and really cheap - lunch. Since I dressed up a little I thought I would share my outfit with y'all.

 I actually really love how this outfit looks. It looks fairly dressy despite it not being overly much - if that makes sense? I've hardly worn my red vest from Oasis so I thought it was time to bust it out. I also decided on wearing my lovely little Newlook booties since I forgot that I even had them, I also forgot how much they hurt my feet. My absolute favourite part of my wardrobe is my TopShop Treggings, I've pretty much wore them to death and am in dire need of a new pair.

OOTD & FOTD - New Years Dinner

Every year, or almost every, I go to my Grans house for New Year. We eat lots of food, Steak Pie (the best and softest crust part), potatoes, carrots, apple pie with ice cream and left over Christmas cake. My Gran also brought out Jaffa Cakes when everyone was having coffee cause she knows how much I like them! My gran is to good to me. Any way - heres some pictures of what I wore!

My dress was from Urban Outfitters, I got it in the sale just recently. My jumper is also a sale purchase from UO, its so soft and cosy. I decided to put tights on since it was kind of cold and I think it looks slightly better with tights on. My shoes have a slight heel on them and are from Topshop. They have a sturdy sole, they are fairly comfortable but after a long time wearing them your feet can start to feel a bit sore. My little bracelet was a 18th birthday present and New Years was the first time I had worn it - the magnet that keeps it together has come off so I need to get glue and fix it. 

Make-up wise I didn't have much time to do much with my face before we had to leave. But anyhoo, my make-up is as follows: my foundation is benefits Hello Flawless, I applied my Soap and Glory One Heck Of A Blot powder, Lord and Berry Eyebrow pencil, L'Oreal's new Mascara Miss Manga and for the lips Maybelline's Moisture Renew in Dark Night Water-oops.

I'll just leave you with this picture of my mum, gran and me all with tea cosys on our heads - we were recreating a picture that was taken exactly like this 17 years ago.

OOTD - 18th Birthday Dinner

So today I've reached a milestone in my life. Today I turned 18!!! I'm excited for going out for dinner and ordering a drink. They will look at me and think - why is that little girl trying to order an alcoholic beverage? I shall internally laugh and and whip out my ID. So yes, tonight I'm going out for dinner with my mum and my brother.
I tried to dress up a bit, since I may as well, you only turn 18 once. My mum got me a pair of beautiful black heels for my birthday. I adore them, they are possibly my most prised possession. I have an unhealthy addiction for shoes. They are quite high - they have about a 6 inch heel - and I'm not 100% sure how well I'll be able to walk in them, but hey I'll learn.
My dress is also from ASOS, and I bought it the week before my birthday. I think its the type of dress that you could wear for both casual and dressy events - depending on how you styled it. I saw it on Zoella's YouTube channel awhile ago and instantly wanted it. I really wanted the blue one, but it was always out of stock. Sigh. When the black one arrived I was more than a little thrilled with it, it is utterly beautiful. Its not like any dress I own, but I think its good different.
I wore no accessories, I didn't think it needed any plus I didn't really know what to pair with it.
